Role: Senior Java developer

Your main responsibilities:

• Analyse, design, develop and maintain software products.
• Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
• Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
• Development of Enterprise Applications.
• Development of Web / Mobile Applications including UI, REST Web Services and backend services.
• Conduct unit tests, integration tests and performance tests of the software and aim for a level of quality that is in-line with the company guidelines.
• Participate in the validation / acceptance phase of the product cycle and conduct the necessary fine-tuning to finalize the product.
• Produce technical documentation
• Technically lead and mentor junior developers on the team
• Support the end users during the Production phase by investigating and fixing issues.

Required:

• A degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years in similar roles
• Java version 8 and greater
• Spring (MVC, Data, Transaction Management, Security), Spring Boot, Microservices
• Proven experience working in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban)
• Testing skills: unit testing, integration test, functional test, automation.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
