Infotel posted business growth of nearly 9% in the 4th quarter of fiscal 2016, thanks in particular to the good performance of the Services division. Software also recorded a solid level of activity in the last quarter, with revenue up by more than 17%.
For the whole of the 2016 financial year, Infotel publishes a turnover in entirely organic growth of 9.1% to 190.6 M€, on a market estimated to be up 2.8% by Syntec Numérique.
Growth driven by the Services division
The Services division (95.5% of turnover) posted an increase in turnover of more than 8% during the 4th quarter. Cumulatively over the full year, growth was close to 9%.
The very good performance of Services is explained by a still sustained level of activity of the service centers with most major customers and in particular in the Banking and Services sectors with projects in progress within Banque de France, Banque Populaire , Caisse d’Epargne, BNP Paribas, EPO or even Air France…
The Group continued its recruitment policy throughout the year with the integration of 383 new employees. The inter-contract rate remained very low throughout the year at 2.1%.
The Banking sector consolidates its position as the leading sector of intervention for the Infotel group with a share of more than 34% of Services turnover: digitalization is impacting this sector, which will continue to transform in the coming years. The share of Industry is 27% and that of Services – Transportation 23%.
The Software division (4.5% of turnover) recorded strong growth with the receipt of €1.47 million in IBM royalties over the last quarter, i.e. a total of €5.35 million for the entire year.
