What is Cross-Skilling?
Cross-skilling, or cross-training, focuses on training employees in new skills to handle multiple responsibilities beyond their current roles efficiently. It also refers to developing skills different from an individual’s primary skill set.
The new skill enables the employee to improve the productivity and performance of the project and to meet the ever-evolving demands of the organisation.

The idea of cross-skilling is to build the skills of everyone in the company. It’s rather than being confined to one specific area, cross-training provides employees with the flexibility to learn and manage tasks outside their niche of expertise. This also encourages employees to make right decisions to shift roles within the same organisation.
Why should organizations think of Cross-Skilling?
