Good performance in Q1
In a sluggish economic context, Infotel reports revenue of €37.18 million for the first quarter of 2013, up 1.2% compared to the first quarter of the previous year. This performance was higher than Syntec Numérique’s forecasts for the sector (+0.3%).
Revenue in the Services division was almost stable (-0.9%) compared to the 1st quarter of 2012 despite an unfavourable base effect. As a reminder, the 1st quarter of 2012 recorded a particularly high level of turnover linked to the start-up of several major service centers – whose additional costs are now integrated.
The Software division (8.2% of revenue) recorded a very good level of revenue at €3.05 million over the quarter, up 34.1% compared to the first quarter of 2012.
The Group is also involved in major calls for tenders to extend its Arcsys offer; however, it notes the persistence of long cycles in decision-making.
The Group’s financial position remains solid with €44.2 million in equity, no debt, a cash level of €22 million (March, 31)
Confirmed outlook
Faced with a certain wait-and-see attitude and still strong price pressure, the Infotel group maintains a very active commercial prospecting policy, particularly in the field of services.
With increased operational efficiency and good visibility for the Software business, Infotel confirms its objectives of above-market revenue growth in 2013 combined with an increase in profitability.
Finally, in order to involve shareholders in the 2012 performance, Infotel’s Board of Directors will propose to the Annual General Meeting on 22 May 2013 the payment of a dividend of €2 per share.
This dividend is expected to be paid on May 30, 2013.
