In a sector context that hardened in the 3rd quarter, Infotel reported revenue as at 30 September showing some resilience, up +10%:

A broadly stable third quarter, thanks to the rise of service centers
At 30 September 2012, Infotel had totalled revenue of €97.9 million, up 10% compared to 30 September 2011. Activity in the 3rd quarter was almost stable (+0.7%), with a Services activity up +2%.
The Services division (94% of turnover) grew by 10.2% to €92.6 million, year-on-year.
The 3rd quarter of 2012 (+2%), was marked by a slowdown in activity in almost all sectors, with the exception of aeronautics, for which service centres continued to ramp up.
The Group must thus face a certain wait-and-see attitude reflected in a lack of visibility at the end of the year among some of its customers.
The Software division (6% of turnover) grew by 7.7% to €5.3 million over the year. In the 3rd quarter, it recorded a decline in activity with revenue of €1.2 million compared to €1.6 million in 2011, mainly due to lower than anticipated IBM royalties and more generally to a delay in the decision-making processes of principals.
Year-end outlook
Given the current environment, Infotel believes that Q4 will have a significant impact on the achievement of the annual revenue target. While visibility tends to decrease, Infotel remains firmly positioned to defend its positions and face market fluctuations.
