Good level of activity
Infotel publishes a turnover of €46.6 million in the 4th quarter of 2015, up 6.7% compared to the 4th quarter of 2014. This lesser increase compared to the previous quarters is explained by the strong growth recorded in the 4th quarter 2014 (+16.6%).
Over the year as a whole and in an IT services market that grew by 2.1% in 2015 (source Syntec), Infotel achieved revenue (entirely organic) of €174.6 million, an increase of 11.2% and in line with the previously announced annual target of €175m.
The Services division (96% of total turnover) posted an increase of 11.5% over the whole year. The solid performance of services over the year reflects a still sustained level of activity in service centers, particularly in the Banking and Industry sectors, which remain the first two sectors in which the Group operates.
The inter-contract rate, still very low, stood at 1.8% for the year as a whole. In the last quarter, the Group continued its active recruitment policy, resulting in 338 gross recruitments but only 101 net recruitments over the year, reflecting the tensions on the market. The Group’s workforce amounted to 1,335 people at the end of 2015.
The Software division (4% of total turnover) recorded growth of 12% in the 4th quarter. For the year as a whole, turnover amounted to €7.6 million, up 5.3%. The amount of IBM royalties was €4.2 million over the year. New distribution partnerships forged in 2015 will boost sales in 2016.
Given the good performance achieved over the year, Infotel confirms higher operating profitability than in 2014.
